The snorkel goggles came in handy here.

That is the only bad thing I can say about this beautiful gem. I went to Cenote Eden and loved it! This cenote is open and makes for a lush surrounding area with plants growing in the water and all the rocks covered in green moss. Everyone just places things near the water and keeps an eye on them.It is easy to get a colectivo back to Playa del Carmen after visiting the cenote? How about Cenote Ponderosa which is 1 minute walk from Cenote El Jardin? They knew right where we wanted to go.
We also visited Cenote Cristolino and loved both. If I go alone, is there a safe place to keep my bag? We don’t think they have towels. However, it seems they have updated their prices since this post was written, ’cause we had to pay 100 peso per adult, not 60 But thanks anyhow!Yes they have and we just heard this as well. It has going up a lot since the 60 pesos we originally paid to get in.

This is a perk of being adventurous and getting away from bigger tourist areas!Beautiful cenote! I'm sure all three are great, we just happened to choose Jardin de Eden. Cool and refreshing.

I wish I had known about this when I was in Playa Del Carmen! We visited Cenote Eden yesterday. We are updating the article to reflect this.

Neat fresh water fish to see smirking. ThanksEden was by far the best. Great place to snorkel and swim.

It is fairly close to many places that I thought more would go. 200 mxn pesos each to get in.

The price has gone up to 200 pesos per person.

You pay at the gate and drive down to the car park. You might consider contacting this place.

We have never heard of anything being broken into or stolen out of cars.

So don’t expect a tourist welcome.

This now matches some of the other local cenotes that think this is a good price to charge guest for.Open Sunday-Friday from 7:00am-5:00pm Closed Saturdays.Hi! Cenote was refreshing and full of fish.
